Privacy Policy

Summary

Desk Activity is designed to be a fully offline application. We do not run a server. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data about you. There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync.

1. Data the App stores on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device using a private SQLite database:

• Your reminder schedule (active hours, interval).
• The built-in and any custom exercises.
• A log of when reminders were posted and whether you marked them Done or Skipped.

This data never leaves your device. It is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data through Android's system settings.

2. Data we do NOT collect

• No account information (we don't have accounts).
• No personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or location.
• No advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting sent to us or any third party.
• No contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera access.

3. Permissions the App requests

• Post notifications (Android 13+): required to show your reminder notifications.
• Receive boot completed: used only to reschedule your reminders after the device restarts.

These permissions are used solely for the App's reminder functionality and are not used to collect data.

4. Third-party services

The App does not use any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash reporting. It is distributed through Google Play, which has its own privacy practices that apply to the download and update process — see Google's policies for details.

5. The Website

deskactivity.app is a static informational website. It does not set tracking cookies and does not run analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses and timestamps) for operational and security purposes; these are not used to identify or profile visitors.

6. Children

The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the App works in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
